Another collage of the week! This collage of the week is brought to you by Cheryl and here’s what she had to say:
I found Scrapwalls through Groupon, although I didn’t buy a coupon. I just remembered the site when I was trying to think of something memorable to give to my daughter for her bridal shower. I thought it would be nice to scan in a bunch of pictures (I think there were over 200) of our family through the years, all the way from when she came to us as a baby from Korea to vacations and holidays and high school/college graduations, and everything in-between. Most collages only take 30 photos or so, but Scrapwalls let me put in a lot more, and I think the effect is more powerful.
I first tried the “FAMILY” template, but it didn’t show all the photos, so I just decided to do it as a full poster, and that was better. There are some repeat photos on the poster, but that’s OK.
I think it turned out great, and it got rave reviews at the Shower. Jaime, my daughter, liked the poster and immediately hung it up in a place of honor in her and her now-husband’s new apartment.
Thank you Cheryl for being featured as our collage of the week!
