Collage.com donates $5,015 to the Flint Child Health & Development Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint

March 31, 2016 By Collage.com

FLINT, Mich. – Collage.com, a Michigan-based custom photo products company, today announced its donation of $5,015 to the Flint Child Health & Development Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

The donation was made after Collage.com offered to match all of its customer donations to the Fund made between February 28 and March 12.

“Flint children exposed to lead in the city’s water supply need our support – both now, and for years to come,” said Joe Golden, co-founder and co-CEO of Collage.com. “I hope you’ll join Collage.com and our customers in support of this critically important cause.”

Gifts to the Fund are used to support positive outcomes for Flint children, including child health and development, educational and student support services, continuous access to pediatric medical homes, access to infant and child behavioral health services, nutrition education, healthy food access, safe and healthy home environments, integrated social services, and research.

“We are grateful for the generosity of Collage.com and their customers for this contribution to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund,” said Kathi Horton, President, Community Foundation of Greater Flint. “The Fund serves the long term health and development needs of Flint children exposed to lead. We continue to be inspired by the outpouring of support from Michigan companies like Collage.com who are truly making a difference in the lives of our children.”

The Fund is still accepting contributions at FlintKids.org. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and go directly to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

Collage.com believes in giving back to the community through donations and employer-sponsored volunteerism. In 2015, Collage.com made a $11,500 donation to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, and donated another $10,885 in products to 96 different nonprofit and school groups around the country.
